As long as you hold over 60fps on a 4k screen(assuming 60hz) does it matter how high you go? Real question!

Minimum frame rates of 60Hz are the target... an average of 80fps can still dip below 60fps in some games... but with GTA V, the frame rate is quite stable... so I would be expecting an 80 average to fluctuate between 65-90 fps in play.

Obviously when 4k 120-200Hz panels are more prevalent in the market, those extra frames will make a difference.

The fact that those monitors are not available is the sole reason I went down the 1440p route instead of 4k.

As crickle said, you want to keep minimum above 60. In my case I think lowest i have seen is 69.

Its nice to finally have a card that can play games at 60 fps at max settings.

Its only saving grace is its performance at keeping everything cool and quiet.

I should add that i want a pascan titan for my HTPC...

so space is limited.

not sure about the ram but can tell you cpu wise youll be fine fella , i had top score on single gpu thread on heaven4 untill Gudu55 knocked me of

Yes easy. Ram is irrelevant. CPU at that speed is just fine. Make sure you have decent case cooling fans as heat will ramp up the reference cooler if you aren't going water cooling. If you're worried about RAM then get some 2400 or some stuff your MOBO will run. You won't really see much difference in real world usage though.
