Would it be a complete waste to get a 1070 and play at 1200p with a [email protected]?

More importantly all the DX12 and Vulkan games I've played but then disabled these features on my 970, will I be able to enable these things with a 1070?

Zotac Founders Edition FTW no yellow stripe , no coil whine , Samsung memory , clocks to over 2.1ghz without breaking a sweat .
Quids left for a decent booze up, what more could you ask for

I thought those were louder than the more "advanced" cooling such as on the MSI Gaming X. I aloso though the fan on them was always on, unlike say again the Gaming X?

I am on my second zotac amp extreme and sending it back, both of them had shot fans

2 months without a card now...ocuk guys are really helpful and they are doing what they can

So this whole micron memory thing? Has it been blown out of proportion or am I mis-understanding?

I seem totally stable at +500 at stock volts and have micron memory. Is that poor or acceptable?

I believe the Micron issue has been resolved by a BIOS update.

What differences are we looking at? I dived into a 1070 when I saw a good price without doing any homework and have ended up with micron memory but some rough testing seems I can benchmark at +750 before any flickering or such.

What sort of clocks do Samsung chips hit on average?
