Did you try the card on another mobo? Judging from the fact your using a Epox I guess not.. j/k

Hmm this reminds me of what happend to my friend (who's not so clever)..... he decided to cut his 7900GTX to size because it didn't fit in his PCI slot. Seemed like he cried that day, thinking why the heck did supplier X send him a non-functional graphics card...none the less, I managed to help him get his card returned for a new one and also made him get a motherboard which can actually work with the card

Gotta love the "hands-on" people, they won't take no for a answer!

I wouldn't be surprised if your mobo was to blame (I have read about a similar experience somewhere else before)...But I think it's supposed to work even though it's a nforce (SLi) mobo. Suppose you should try a new one just in case..no harm in trying

Ooh, I meant to say go and RMA your graphics card and get a new one. No harm in doing that (i.e. you don't have to waste your money on another mobo to check if the card works) --but you're already doing it so it's cool

Meh! Was going to hold out until I got paid but that inquirer article made me think there might not be any left until the end of the week. Got mine ordered.

This card is fantastic value! Playing DOD:S 4xAA Everything on high getting around 80-130 fps, is that about right?

Im using the Asrock Dual Sata2 AGP/PCIE jobby and i had no problems changing from AGP (9600) to this card.

Am I the only one to be even a little bit miffed by this? Gibbo's original post, which is precisely what induced me to order the card, clearly said "These are brand new sealed product, they come with the Sapphire game vouchers and this price is unbeatable". Now, the game vouchers weren't a big factor in my decision, but they were a factor. As a matter of fact, I'd have preferred the Pacific Fighters game that comes with the Powercolor 512Mb card, but I could buy that game for less than the £65 price difference between the two cards!

i didnt even know about the offer... i dont listen to Gibbo as he makes it up as he goes along i think.

i bought it based on the spec in the shop, not Gibbos gibberish.

Don't even know for what games those vouchers were for so i can't say im too dissapointed.

It's a hell of a deal regardless, but would have made it sweeter i guess.

You can play each for 60mins then you have to pick which one you want. You then get the full game.
