They should have rebooted it with young kids and new CGI tbh

But I think the issue is time has changed so much that the comedy back in the 80s-90s was well funny and now it does not hit that mark.

I'll watch new episodes and then form an opinion rather than just write them off before I've seen them like some of the smeeeeeg heeeeeeads in this thread.

I'm a massive red dwarf fan who preferred the older series(1&2),and honestly I feel that there is still life in the series. The last one was pretty good and tbh, it is a simple formula, and so long as they stick to it I am optimistic. I don't find them being older a problem either... They are stuck on the ship in the same situation. Aging isn't really a problem at all for the show imo.

The original run descended to pathetic nonsense in series 7 and 8, and series 9 was trully terrible. After those series 10 was a great return to form. Red Dwarf works when its a limited cast, limited sets and simple yet well though out script. The episode where Lister disciplined himself as his dad was great.

If they do more like series 10 I'll be chuffed.

FISH!
