Cost of sons school uniform

My son 11 starts high school on Monday so today we both went shopping to buy all of his new uniform. I was quite pleased with how much it all cost in the end I thought it was going to be a lot more expensive than it actually was. How does my sons uniform cost compare to others?
My sons new uniform
School jumper with school logo £10x2
School polo shirt with school logo £8x3
Black school trousers £7x3
School shoes / black lace up plimsolls £8 for 2 pairs
School hoodie optonial £12
Pe top £8
Pe shorts£7
Pe socks£7
Pe hoodie£12
Trainers £30
Football boots £23
 
£4 plimsolls for school shoes? My pen was worth more than that.

There's nothing like the feeling of sitting down for a lesson knowing you're wearing the best shoes in the whole school. I used to spend 15 minutes meticulously polishing my shoes every morning before leaving for school.
