I don't see the issue with calling your son 11. Names are irrelevant, if I ever have children they will be assigned Borg designations.

Always been High School to me.
I went to Hanley High School in 1969, my kids went to Blurton High School in the 2000s and so on.

Either way i still see 'High School' as a modernism/Americanism for secondary school.

My High School was formed around 1888 before Americanisms were thought of.
