I'm not saying this game is dark souls but this game is step up in difficulty from the majority of games today, I hope you guys all stick with it. Hope 2.4 is either included optionally, put in the baseline code or at least an option for install though.

It should definitely be compatible with Win7. If not, follow the link that arc@css posted and grab SS2Tool

It will automagically fix a lot of possible issues with the game.

Aw, it's a pity they couldn't bundle the texture and model overhauls with it, but I'll probably still buy it anyway. I only ever finished a playthrough as navy, which I believe was the easiest due the the high repair skills.
