I've just seen an e-mail were i work saying that we are going to be selling the PS3's we stock at the following reduced prices.

Playstation 80gb NOW £239.97 (WAS £299.97)

Playstation 80gb + Little Big Planet Bundle NOW £249.97 (WAS £279.97)

The email doesn't say when we start this offer, but i would think it will be in the next few days.

I work at a competitor by the way :-)

I have read that a cetain retailer may do an upgrade thing for the PS3 slim like they did for the DSI, ie increase the trade in value for you old PS3. Its tempting me grrrr only got a new 80GB a month or so ago, but i like the slim. hmmm

Well for another incentive Ghostbusters is worth £20 cash in a trade in site.

You can setup that the PS3 shuts down when you turn off the LCD but that isn't really that useful.

You can get them, mine has a BRAVIA Sync bit on the remote with all of the buttons on. Must just be on the newer sets?
 
Yeah hopefully it'll mean the older models are cheaper for christmas time so might end up getting a fat one :o

It was limited stock mate as far as I know. That's a strange one, maybe they take a while. I called at 9AM and the dude was laughing off a price drop. I called and hour later, and guess what - "Errr yeah, 1 left".

Keep checking, or order online.
