erm, i did benchies in furmark and heaven already 
i've just bought BC2 so might give that a go in a bit. after playing it
i don't have any other games so nothing more to bench.

Does EVGA Precision work on non-EVGA cards?

My girlfriends machine with 1x 280 runs it really well at 1920 x 1200, so god knows what is wrong with your set up

That's not exactly setting world alight though, my 5850 plays great at those setting too.

Yeah I did, it's common knowledge fermi is better in heavy tessellation, not that any games will be like the heaven bench anytime soon though, we all would be looking at sub 10 FPS lol.
You should try some overclocking, be good to see what a 470 can do.
