UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL ... Bayern Munich v Chelsea ... *** Spoilers ***

Some people have just been spoiled too much by Barcelona, there's no reward for playing entertaining football or dominating the majority of match statistics all that matters is goals.

Chelsea may not have been very attack minded but they did show a lot of human qualities to achieve what they did, which for me was a joy to watch.

Personally, I like watching Man UTD/Real Madrid's more direct style of play over Barcelona's methodic/robotic keep ball style but it doesn't take anything away from Barcelona's success.

Doesn't matter if you park 10 fat people on the goal line and one skinny guy up front on his own. If it works for you, then fair play.
 
As a Stoke supporter, I fully endorse and congratulate Chelsea on a match that was tactically well played. Just for the record though, I'm in no way a fan of Chelsea but will get behind an English team every time. So on that front, well done Chelsea. It's great that an English team holds the cup.

So onto the pictures. My souvenirs from the trip:

What a great day it was. Blue and red everywhere, central Munich heaving with people. Very friendly, chatting, singing a carnival atmosphere, you couldn't have a better atmosphere. The first two are from Friday afternoon and Beeb men on a jolly in the first one.

I thought the seats around where we sat were the best in the house. Shame we didn't have the penalties where we were but I don't think we could have watched them from our end. The booing from the Bayern fans was deafening when we took ours so it was sweet revenge when they saw their misses up front and personal. I’m still not back on planet earth today. I think it’s going to be a few more days before that happens. :D
