AMD E3 Page

I was just going to say, why has this moved to talking about the apparent Game Console? I thought you were talking about the PC?

There's plenty of evidence here:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=590486

A couple of the 'Xbox One' machines crashed back to a Windows 7 desktop.

So not only have Microsoft chosen to use NVidia GPU's they've avoided Windows 8 as well. :p

edit: Oh and it looks like a S2011 P9X79 Intel Motherboard as well.

Guess they were using the 320.18 drivers as well LOL.

Because...

According to the Gamespot guys on the floor, it was PC hardware but Xbox One emulator software running the demos, they talk about this strange situation during the multiplayer video walkthrough.

to which LtMatt said that he doubts it.

Emulation was running the Xbox One demos.

Emulation is generally very buggy and plus you have Microsoft involved, it does speak volumes that they would choose Intel/NVidia hardware for it though.

Especially when said hardware and drivers causes crashes. Nevermind im sure they'll never make that mistake again.

That said i doubt AMD would let them use pc AMD hardware when its supposed to be showcasing AMD console hardware.

When its all said and done though, this is console talk which no one here cares about. Pc is where its at.

I thought he was talking about the pc side of things initially seeing as this was posted in the gpu section.

It doesnt tbh.

Just means that the chap they asked to get the system specs together is a nvidia fan boi

Roy definitely doesn't want a job with nvidia again!

As for the Radeon hash tag and GeForce hash tag that's only for maximum visibility across the twitter network.

I think you misunderstand. By using the hash tags and then not releasing any information about graphics cards is just building up hype and then delivering nothing.

Yes, that's ^^^^ exactly what he's doing, and it is funny.

He / They did not say, nor ever did say anything about discrete Desktop GPU's and any sort of announcement at E3 or any other time.

So they never built up any hype about GPU's, that was us speculating that they might have something like that to say at E3.

If you're talking about an upcoming announcement with hash tags of Radeon/GeForce it's implying only one thing, whichever way you spin it.

What are you talking about? (# tag Radeon/GeForce) are Radeon/GeForce Twitter accounts, he's Tweeting at those accounts, there has not been a single "upcoming GPU announcement" tweeted.
If however you have seen such a thing please do share, i'm very interested.

Just tweeting random stuff at people is,- just tweeting random stuff at people, what on earth are YOU reading into that? there is nothing at all about new GPU's in any of it.

You're so defensive about AMD it's actually pretty funny. I can actually see you seething that somebody has dared to question the fact that they were making noises about big announcement(s) at E3 and hash tagging and/or mentioning Radeon/GeForce (which implies it's about GPUs) and then delivered... not a lot.

All aboard the hype train.

p.s. this isn't the Battlelog forum humbug, calm down.

Your trying to make something from nothing, as usual.

All i'm doing is showing you up in that, i'm the bane of your life here aren't I? :p

I am calm, i'm much more than calm :D

I don't think he is, I remember the thread and it was a fairly clear statement that something was coming up at E3, didn't mention CPU or GPU, but the Geforce #tag implied it was GPU news. Even went as far as saying AMD were going to be bringing the competition back or something.

I imagine their #itsurprise tag was about bf4 running smoothly and looking awesome on all amd hardware, fx cpu and 2x79790's. Its our fault for building it up so much here, but in my eyes thats all part of the fun.
