AMD E3 Page

I don't think he is, I remember the thread and it was a fairly clear statement that something was coming up at E3, didn't mention CPU or GPU, but the Geforce #tag implied it was GPU news. Even went as far as saying AMD were going to be bringing the competition back or something.

Exactly.

They never said anything about GPU's, a lot about the BF4 game, some CPU, APU's, Servers, Tablets, Laptop's........ and all of that was # tagged at Radeon and Geforce

That's it.

Just because you tweet something at Radeon and Geforce is no indication of anything. Just because its a tweet at Radeon and Geforce, unless you want to read something into it, 'and then claim its all hype', he's wrong to read into whats not there in the first place.

So basically the AMD guy is a spammer?

I should take part of the blame, i was the one who said it could be a gpu announcement. I accept full responsibility. Apologies to everybody. Now in typical fashion...

All his tweets contain that to be fair, its not like he just started doing it.

Yes, go back through this thread and look how often he's been called out as a troll, there is a reason for that :)

He left Nvidia before going to AMD. that might have something to do with it.

Bottom line is that AMD said they had an announcement to make, which turned out to be a not the first, not quite 5Ghz CPU and then went on to show off a game running on old hardware.

So realistically this entire thread has been a bit of a waste of time. Oh well. ;):D;)

How would you describe this thread in comparison? :D

:D

He would just remove me after I gave all my Nvidia spiel to him :D

I reckon he'd give as good as he got. I like the cut of his jib personally. :p

Battlefield 4 footage on 7970 ghz crossfire. I have to admit, that's how battlefield 3 plays for me on crossfire so i do have to wonder if they're using the new drivers or not. Despite what FCAT said, battlefield is a very nice experience on crossfire.

Yeah, disappointed there wasn't more. but then we all know the new GPU's are not going to be until late this year.
It just would have been nice to get some confirmed specifications.

I like how he gives it to Nvidia all the time but I feel Jen Hsun Huang will be laughing his little socks off at AMD producing nothing. It is a shame AMD didn't have a new range of GPU's but it will keep the cash in your pockets for a while :)

Your trying to make something from nothing, as usual.

All i'm doing is showing you up in that, i'm the bane of your life here aren't I? :p

I am calm, i'm much more than calm :D

It's 'you're'... the only person you're showing up is yourself. I don't really pay much attention to what you say so I don't think you're the bane of my life really.

You can't say "exactly" when what he's saying is disagreeing with you.

I've highlighted the bit in bold and yellow which is what my original point was and oh look more above agree :).

They created a hype train, knowing that their apparatchiks would fuel it and then didn't really deliver (IMO) anything really that noteworthy.

Give it up Rusty, its already obvious he's copying in # tags for everything,- but nothing about new GPU's.... going on and on and on isn't going to change that.

Your reading into something that isn't there and then using that to justify your hype argument.

We thought there might be something about new GPU's, were never under the impression there would be nor was there ever anything to suggest there was, no hype. Just an assumption unfounded.

Give what up? I'm an AMD owner who is disappointed at giving it the big 'un through the hype train and then failing to really deliver anything. Why create the hype, or encourage the creation of it, if you know nothing is there?

It's 'you're' - and I'm reading into the same things that everyone else has above.

Keep on defending (for reasons I won't pretend to understand).

They created hype for the previous reasons already mentioned earlier. We were all just hoping that it meant new gpu's. People speculated (myself included) and it went from there. I for one am delighted to see battlefield 4 running superbly on amd hardware that i own and will be using when the game is released. I just hope to god they have a built in game benchmark this time around.
