Hey peeps,

So currently I have 3xAsus VG278H monitors running in 3D surround and would like to go to one 1440P monitor (if it is worth it). I have a budget of £400 and could go slightly over but would rather not. I have been gaming on one screen and using another for monitoring and web browsing. I would assume I could still connect 2 screens and use a 1440P for gaming and a 1080P for monitoring?

So any recommendations for one or is it worth me even bothering with?

Cheers in advance.

I have an ASUS PB278Q + 1080p 120hz monitor connected together and use the 1440p for gaming and the other for browsing/youtube when gaming.

Works well and the PB278Q is a lovely monitor.

Agree with Boomstick, first one had horrid yellow and blue backlight bleed, next day business replacement.

Gone for the Dell U2713HM cheers guys. Still not sure if I have done the right thing but should be here for Friday.

This is the one ive been seriously considering. Had my 1920x1200 benq for quite a while now. However i do suspect that the move to 1440p will need some serious gpu grunt.

Wish you luck, please check the back light (lower left) and report back. Maybe also let people know what revision and manufacture date is on the outer box:)

No not at all. I went round doing a few site reviews who had nothing but admiration for it...That will teach me to not read up properly first :( What a downer.

I knew about the problems (there are some happy owners out there) and was considering going for it, but I'm not the sort of person who wants to keep RMA'ing back and forth till I got a good one, so went for the Asus.

If the first isn't up to par, it is going back under DSR and I will get a different model. I am not prepared to keep going back and forth till I get a goodun.

@Gregster

Friendly moderator bit here,

Your sig appears to have a quotation mark above the pic and a blank line under the pic and the links.

You are only allowed one line with a picture and no blank lines.

Cheers Stulid and if the monitor isn't up to par, That Hazro looks like it could be worth a punt Giggzy.

Edit:

Sig sorted. No idea what happened there....

I really wouldn't touch the dell with a ten foot pole! I sent two back with horrible yellow bleed in the bottom left corner and dead pixels. Not good at all.

Hi was looking at the hazro myself what are they like in terms of build quality?

Also would a single 7970 handle 1440p I know a few games it wouldn't cope
