Should be a good race this one, Canada has a tendency to spring surprises on folk - Mansell's daft retirement in 1991, Alesi's only win in 1995 or Villeneuve into the wall in 1997(?). It's a notorious car breaker as well as Frentzen can testify after his excursion into the barriers following a late race brake failure in 1999.
A new surface for this year could help or hinder, the track is used so rarely that the old surface took a long time to come up to speed, the new surface however is a step into the unknown for teams and tyre manufacturers alike. Couple that to a layout which, as Flibster's map shows, has 6 heavy braking areas and we could see tyres being pushed to, and likely beyond, their limits.
So who's going to be there at the end? Certainly the usual suspects, McLaren wil undoubtably have learned from the Nurburgring so expect them to look to manage tyres. Renault will be quick if they get a good setup, lots of slow corners to use the torque of the narrow angle V10. Williams are a bit of an unknown quantity this weekend I think, there's a lot of friction between the team and BMW at the moment but if they can put that to one side and get on with things then look at them to maintain the momentum of the last few races. Ferrari, I think, could be the dark horse here, MS is always strong here so it's going to come down to tyres and possibly waiting until others throw the race away rather than outright pace.

Car seems reliable as well - the engine is showing superb reliability which is good - also rumoured to be the most powerfull engine in the pit lane.

That one's been on the cards for a while but it will depend on a few of things.
1) If MS decides to retire I don't see Ferrari wanting 2 new drivers in one go
2) His Ferrari contract runs until the end of next year so some cash is going to have to change hands
3) Jenson going to Williams, it's a fair assumption that he'll not get the 75% of the leaders tally by the finish of the Turkish GP so he'll be free to go. There is another rumour that says Williams are contractually bound to take him and give him a race seat.
If all of those go the right (for BAR) way then RB is just the kind of guy that Honda want in the BAR if they're to make a serious push for honours in the next few seasons.
There was an article on the autosport web site early in the season which speculated about moves for next season, mainly it was very tongue in cheek but it's getting scarily close to reality. I've got the text in an email, gimme a minute and I'll whack it on to some webspace.
