OK, so I am at work and hear a fellow workmate is in a band. Oh right I say, and hear he has toured around Europe etc.
hmmmm, i start thinking I am hearing porkies or exaggerated chinese whispers, so i get his bands website and I was stunned. He is in a glam rock band, Darkness style, and seem to be very very popular in other countries. :eek:

Check his group out, very catchy tunes..'back on my own 'is the one stuck in my head on the video section.
And this guy is a CCNP network engineer by day, and an international rock god at night !!!! (He is the dark haired guy on lead guitar)

If its the same band they go all the way back to the late 80's and I've seen them a couple of times. Can't remember much about them though. I remember one of the albums looked like four girls a bit like the Poison album.

G-Unit is a band comprised of 50 cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck among others like Mobb Deep. D12 is a band lead by Eminem. You've probably heard the song My Band or Fight Music.

I get what you mean. I dont see others havnt though. Eminem Is a one man show most of the time. When you go watch him crap its usually just to see him. The Instruments could be anyone really.

Its the same with Elton aswell. You got see him in concert and by his music and singing. The Music is just people there to make the tune and dont get much recognition.

A Band is where people go and see something like U2, Where they go see the Actual band and not the one single person.
They all have a big imput and all get a lot of recognition and cant be swapped around at any moment because people WILL notice the difference.

Like that but i probably confused you even more because i cant put down my thoughts into writing very well

So he probably makes millions from his music and has international fame yet he still wants to do his day job?

I plan to be a CCNP certified network engineer but if I was in a band that successful i'd definitely forget about my career. He must really love his job.

Off topic but I don't suppose you would mind telling me what kind of salary hes earning from his networking job? I know in London you can get as much as £50k but I suppose it's more like 30k everywhere else.
