what i will say for now is i am very very impressed and delighted to say the least. the built in freeview is a great picture. my pc looks fab on it and my xbox360 is outstanding.
i got mine for that price also. :)

what will you be using the screen for in general ?

Most of the time: A bit of TV, and a lot of DVD's :D

But It'll be rigged up to the PC too, so I'm sure some 'wireless keyboad gaming' from my bed willl soon follow ;)

I shall try and do a mini review at the weekend if anyone wants me to ?
That would be good, it might finally sway me :p

My main problem is space!

I'm going to wall mount it? Actually, during your potential review, is there any chance you could give me the 'real-life' dimensions of this set? WxH?

I seem to be getting conflicting reports on its measurements from different places :(

I'm strictly limited to a 70cm width...

Cheers, the pictures look great btw!

The Sony S2010 measures 66cm wide x 52cm from bottom of base to top of TV and the base is about 22cm deep if you're interested in that TV.

Hi mate ,

Could you do a few close up pics of the tv displaying windows please. Kinda like that Xbox 360 dashboard shot. I just wanted to see the text size and clarity ( open a webpage perhaps with detail like bbc)
I am thinking of a similar setup. I was wondering if you can see or read anything from sitting in a sofa 2-3M away from the screen.

Cheers again

Sid

hi sid i havent got much time just now and i'm also awful with a camara.
however i can tell you i surf in bed laying down and i can read the screen fine about 4 foot away.

when the xbox360 is on the first thing i noticed (connected via component) was just how amazingly clear the picture and text was.
