along with all the other features you’d expect from a flagship Android device. As many of you are probably noting, the Nexus S does not have the much-desired dualcore processor that was so highly anticipated, but the specs seem quite solid nonetheless.

yeah its seems quite solid, im always scouting android news sites, and will post any more info if and when i find it, im definitely interested!

you cant hold off for ever waiting for the next big thing or you would never buy one!

Well if rumours are true and it's a Samsung model, surely we can expect similar things to the Galaxy S? I don't think I would hold out for this as afaik there is nothing that is coming out mobile-tech wise that is going to exactly blow the SGS/DHD out the water :)

i did read somewhere, but cant find it now that Samsung had said they would not be doing it

"It is not yet clear who will manufacture it, although rumours surrounding a Samsung model are believed to be untrue. Both Google and Carphone declined to comment."

Thank god for that :D

The mobile would be a disaster then :p

They probably don't want to do it because it means that they would have to update the mobile to the latest android version everytime when an update is released :p, so they couldn't be bothered with that :p, that's Samsungs style, don't update it at all or only once and then make an excuse saying something like "it's too old" even though the mobile has only been out for like 6 months or say "the hardware doesn't support it", even though lowered end phones have froyo and plus there are froyo builds by developers where froyo works and then they bring out there next range of mobiles and do exactly the same thing, rinse and repeat.

So good riddance to them :)

Would say the specs will be similar to the desire HD/galaxy S, maybe slightly better though in terms of the processor, but hopefully they will have a bigger better battery and a better quality screen than the desire HD :p

Looks like this might be my next mobile :D

Crap :(, it turns out Samsung will most probably be making the nexus 2, better not make it look like a cheap and tacky mobile like all there others now a days or like an iphone clone like there galaxy S :p, would also be nice if they used a better material than the same cheap plastic they use for all there mobiles also it means they will have to update the mobile as soon as new android updates are out, can't just abandon it after 1 update :p, hopefully google will keep them in line :p:

And also it seems like the mobile will be the samsung galaxy S 2 that was posted a few months ago (unbelievable specs ):

All I can say is good luck with getting a full day of battery life, actually good luck even getting 4 hours :p

Google will design the phone, Samsung are just the company that will manufacture it, I dont think there is anything to worry about.

Interesting  battery life shouldn't be too bad... A9s are supposed to have better power management + 1 core can switch off etc. The screen could kill it though? :D

(+ it might explain why they didn't slap an Orion in the Galaxy Tab...)
