In fact it was the opposite. I was responding to the obvious fanboi fastest GPU comment Raven made.

I am not a fan of either camp and completely mercenary to the best price/performance card.

I don't feel any need to fanboi either manufacturer, last two cards I owned were 1x from each camp. In fact I think I have pretty much pinged backwards and forwards with each purchase since 3dfx went under ;)
 
Raven change the name of the thread to official gtx580 fastest gpu in the world flame bait thread. Why kick of a thread with a sentence thats gonna make people come in and do the whole nv/amd arguement. I don't remember any official thread opening with the fastest this or the fastest this the thread can only go one way. Your sentence sounds a little like it came from nv HQ.

also hope someone can answer my question. I was considering SLIng my 460 to get the extra FPS needed to run every game maxed out in 3d. But the 580gtx seems to get the same FPS with only 1 card.
Would i be better off with a 580 ? or just get another 460. Price doesnt come into this. Quite wait a while and get the 580 if its worth it. I game at 1920x1080 120hz.

Yet again the ATI fanboys ruin something. I thing i find most amusing is the very thing you moan about raven for, you do yourselves. The old saying to wrongs do not make a right.

Lets be honest, is it the fastest single GPU at the moment.

Yes but the adding of those words added nothing to the thread, it was like inciting people to comment.

That was my point and hence my reaction, it was unnecessary and as a result I was persuaded to add some fuel to the fire ;)

The way you post you can specifically influence people to react or not to react, those simple words being added were certain to incite a reaction. I just got in there fast for a laugh.

Posting as you did with those words when the cards are not even available yet is kind of like asking for a response. IMO baiting.

Thats exactly the point i was making. He knows what happens in this forum so why the hell add that to the opening post.
