Just had the worst phone call of my life

Some of you may have read in the "This instant and moment" thread that my mum was going into hospital to get a fiber optic camera down her throat, as she suspected she may have cancer from the pain in her throat and the severe vomiting with also dramatic weight loss through out the past month. A few hours ago my sister phoned me from the hospital and gave me the most hard hitting news I've ever had! The doctors had found a tumor in my mums larynx

. On a more positive note it has been caught early, she will have to undergo another fiber optic camera down her throat again and a cat scan to make 100% sure it hasn't spread. If any of you are near your mother right now or near a phone tell your mum you love them because you never know!

I can semi-understand the camera down the throat, i had one shuffed up my nose, felt like it was in my brain.

Aye it's horrible, i remember my mum telling me she had cancer, worst thing ive ever felt, thankfully she pulled through so chin up fella, they caught it early so best wishes to her and you!.
