Looks stunning -

I like the look of it, but have serious reservations due to the fact that 2010 only had 1 patch before they stopped supporting it. Will be waiting to see if it's bugged before commiting to buying it.

Co-op career should be great - was really disappointed that I couldnt play through a career with a mate and be able to save it!!

One slight worry though - mechanical failures - whilst you would imagine it will add realism, there are few things in life that are more annoying than leading a GP after 40+ laps and you get a random mechanical failure 2 laps from the end - like what happened to me once back on Geoff Crammonds GP4!!!

Co-op career is the most promising feature there from my perspective. The AI needs work though - without the AI mod from racedepartment it was an absolute joke.

Very much this.

Also, what happened to them charging per track? Did I remember them saying something like that, or did they decide it was actually a silly idea?

I think they were considering it as a way of decreasing piracy / getting the game out earlier. No idea if they're doing it though.

I believe that was misquoted from an interview as Codemasters were just talking about future/new selling techniques of games these days. You see a lot of games with the £10 "online pass" these days to try and bypass the preowned market.

They best had get the safety car in!! To me it just seems crazy to have a F1 game without a safety car :p Can't wait to see some gameplay showing off the new stuff they have added.

Also isn't the Nurburgring the really long 7 minute per lap track? If so how would that work for F1 cars as that is one very bumpy track which F1 cars wouldn't like.

wow, the graphics look stunning! never really thought about getting racing games on PC, I don't think the controls are built for it.

There is this Invention you may have missed, It's called a Wheel.

GFX looks superb but the first one has made me wary so I'm waiting for real user feedback etc

I have the same concerns. Will also be waiting to see how bugged it is and whether they get fixed.
