Can't see a thread about this upcoming game.

Looks like GTA Meets Yakuza but set in Hong Kong with the Triads.

Looks like it could be a great game going by the video. I loved the Yakuza series so if its anything like that it will be great IMO.

Anyone else excited or interested in this game?

 
True Crime: Hong Kong.

And yeah, this one definitely is a mixture of the two franchises.

Combat itself looks very good which is what I am more interested in.

I was until they said at E3 they've changed the street layout of Hong Kong to make it more fun to drive. I wanted authenticity, goddamnit.

depends on the sort of games you like, watch dogs looks fantastic, But I love these sort of free roaming interactive city games like Shenmue\Yakuza\etc So for me this is up there with Watch Dogs and The last of us now.

Glad this thread was made, as I'd missed it.
 
Looking good. Was disappointed when True Crime: Hong Kong was cancelled, didn't realise Square Enix snapped it up :D
 
It uses the same combat engine as Batman Arkham Aslyum apparently, with Need for Speed type driving and May Payne type shooting....according to IGN anyways
 
I cant believe I over looked this game, I love GTA type games and as stated the fighting mechanics are some of the best I have seen in a sandbox game.

Could be a possible purchase.

Why do you say that Noel? I thought it looked quite good too, I was possibly going to pick it up once its a bit cheaper
