I know most of you will know about this show, but I figured it's worth having a thread to discuss the show, and more specifically the games that are presented in it. Sometimes it can be a little hit and miss, and sometimes Wil ends up cheating/using the rules wrongly/ignoring them entirely, but it's still a good entertainment show. And it's good because it gives a great overview of so many games that you can get a good idea of how the different games play and if you'll enjoy them without needing to spend any money.

And so, for ease of browsing and clicking, here be the episodes:

Season 1
  1. Small World (2 hour extended edition)
  2. Settlers of Catan
  3. Zombie Dice, Get Bit! & Tsuro
  4. Ticket to Ride
  5. Munchkin
  6. Castle Panic (1hr 45 extended edition)
  7. Gloom
  8. Fiasco (And part 2)
  9. Say Anything
  10. Elder Sign
  11. Dixit
  12. Wits & Wagers
  13. Pandemic (85min extended edition)
  14. Last Night on Earth
  15. Star Fluxx
  16. Alhambra
  17. Chez Geek
  18. Dragon Age (And part 2)

Season 2
  1. Formula D (2 hour extended edition)
  2. The Resistance
  3. Once Upon a Time
  4. King of Tokyo
  5. Forbidden Island
  6. Smash Up
  7. Star Trek Catan
  8. Star Wars X-Wing
  9. Lords of Waterdeep
  10. Shadows over Camelot
  11. Betrayal at House on the Hill (And Part 2)
  12. Takenoko
  13. Qwirkle and 12 Days (100 minute extended edition)
  14. Carcasonne (95 minute extended edition)
  15. Tsuro of the Seas (1 hour extended edition)
  16. Ticket to Ride - Europe
  17. Fortune and Glory
  18. Lords of Vegas

So far, Tabletop's introduced me to The Resistance (Which quickly progressed into a love for Avalon) and Dixit, which is just a fantastic game.

This show is soley responsible for my irresponsible habit of throwing hard earned money down in the pursuit of new games :D

I own 14 of the games on the lists above solely after watching the show - just need more local players.

Superb show though and look forward to new episodes and generally favour them over any other TV show :D

I much prefer shut up sit down. Very different in format clearly. I find tabletop rather dull. Robert Florence's reviews were excellent as well, though he hasn't done them for a couple of years.

Tabletop is what got me into board gaming, hadn't really considered it for many years, wasn't a pen and paper rpg guy and then I started following Wil on G+ and shortly afterwards he posted the video for one of the mid-season 1 games and I was hooked :p

I only own 4 of the ones on the list though, but then I only own 7 'base' games so far (10 with expansions), got several more games on my list from the show though, I like the quick/fun introduction.

Oddly it took me a while to get Settlers as on the show I wasn't overly impressed by it, but thought it was worth playing, but I actually really like it, far more than I thought I would :)

Damn you Wil Wheaton!

Being a huge Felicia Day fan (bordering on obsessive!) when she started Geek & Sundry I immediately subscribed, and then naturally started watching Tabletop.

Having never known who Wil Wheaton was (other than "someone who was occasionally in Big Bang Theory"), and not really being "into" board games, I approached it with caution, but ended up loving the show and by extension, games!

Due to the show, I've got the following from the shows they've done:

Settlers of Catan
Zombie Dice
Ticket to Ride
Munchkin
Fluxx
Forbidden Island

With no doubt more to come! Gotta pace my game purchasing a little...

Good show, just bought Forbidden Island, Zombie Dice & Star Fluxx. Tempted by the Star wars mini game also. The Dragon Age RPG looked pretty swish too, wonder if i could turn my gaming group even more to the geek side!

I'm a big fan of this show even though I don't currently play any Tabletop games, I used to play loads of pen and paper RPGs when I was younger though (AD&D, Star Wars, Warhammer FRP, Doctor Who to name a few). Hopefully they'll get the funding to do a third season.
