Hi there
RTX series when it comes to coolers has pretty much just being a rinse and repeat of what we had on Pascal, of course that is not always an issue as many of the 1000 series coolers were and are superb, but what Gigabyte have done with their Aorus brand is really something special...
The Samsung 55 inch NU8000 seems a good choice as it supposedly has very low input lag in its gaming modes. I know that as I have a nvidia gpu i am unable to take advantage of the freesync capabilities but surely switching the tv into freesync mode and enjoying low input lag would be reason...
Just saw this report:
https://techreport.com/blog/34136/geforce-cards-mysteriously-begin-playing-nice-with-tr-freesync-monitors
Good news if so... I'm presuming this is different from the "hack" reported a while back given the date of the article?
Using 411.70 drivers, DP cable, exclusive...
Hi there
Over a year ago I helped Gigabyte design a cleaner looking card, everyone loved the performance and cooler on their Gaming OC model but did not like the white shroud as 90% of end users in UK/Europe are typically running black themed systems or certainly along the lines of less is...
Currently have Inno3D 1060 6GB, which I purchased brand new few months ago (purchase price was in very low 200s)
I also have brand new still sealed Zotac 1070Ti, which I snapped up recently for a price in very low 300s.
Now deciding which one to sell and which one to keep.
I don't game as much...

I think it would be a good idea for nvidia, to make a addon card that handles RTX seperatly, so we could get support for raytracing on the cards we have atm
If the 2080 are not going to be a massive leap performance wise on the 1080ti, I think i'd rather stick with what I have, and get support...
Good Evening all,
I have a Acer Predator 165hz IPS G-SYNC monitor
When i play games at 100 plus frames the games feel like butter, but as soon as it hit's 90-80 fps it starts to feel sluggish kind of like a slow down!!
Is this just me or do other people have this issue?
Regards
Hi there
OK I've been a stubborn git for weeks with board partners pushing for a deal, then refusing it due to not been good enough and continuing to work them hard to try and get somewhere.
Problem now is the huge supplies they had are essentially depleted and they are now building to...
Anybody here had any experience with Palit 10 series cards, specifically the Jetstream/Super Jetstream? I'm looking at just picking up the 1070.
I've never built a system with an nvidia GPU so I'm not too familiar with brands like Palit and Zotac etc.
Just looking what people's experiences...
Hello, with the impending release of these new fangled "RTX" cards, do any of us actually care about ray tracing?
For me I don't think it will add very much, like its a cool new way of doing stuff, and at a professional level will likely save Disney a bunch of time and money on their next block...
Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade my current GTX960 gpu to a 1080. My current GPU is using a 1 x 6pin power connector, but the 1080 requires 1 x 8pin. My PSU (600W, so no issues there) has a 1 x 6-pin and what looks like 1 x 6+2pin(?) cable available but no 8-pin. Would a simple 6-pin to 8-pin adapter...
Hey guys,
So first post on here, have been following for years but never actually posted, so thought I'd make a start by showing my build.
I used to be hugely into PC gaming and modding, up until the GeForce 660Ti era, but with work and general life I kind of drifted away slightly, casually...
Hi there
Well with a heatwave, world cup and no new product releases for a very long time OcUK decided to look at ways to motivate the market, as such we came up with the idea to do "RED HOT FRIDAY" or "RED HOT SALE" and as such we've been able to get support from manufacturers to create some...
Hi there
A great offer from NVIDIA worth around £50, they are now giving Destiny 2 with both expansion packs FREE with qualifying VGA cards, this is important because anyone wanting to purchase expansion pack 3 when it is released needs to already own D2 and the two current expansion packs to...
Hi,
I've been trying to use the nvidia dsr feature on games on a 4k tv as some games don't offer great anti aliasing options like the elder scrolls online and even look bad in 4k resolution. Using the feature works but for some reason it changes my native resolution from 3840x2160 to 4096x2160...
