10.5.3 hows it for you?

Downloading it now myself, first major update for me to download since I've had my Mac :)

I assume this is similar to a Service Pack for XP/Vista?

Hopefully it'll fix the network shares not showing up under "Network" at random times!

Installed on one of my minis, my 24" imac, my iLamp and my MBP.. no issues so far.

I hope it fixes the problem with USB dying when waking from sleep on the iLamp, but i'm not holding my breath.

Edit: The iLamp now seems to hang completely when waking from sleep.. which is a problem they fixed in the previous patch.. ho hum.

How big is this patch for you guys?
On my Main 8core Macpro it was 403mb... on my other 4core Macpro it was 198mb :confused:

Both systems running a fully updated 10.5.2 before this patch.

Nothing seems to have died in the upgrade, but, i didnt have any problems before so nothing seems to have improved either.

I've been waiting for this for ages... 198MB here..

It has memory leak fixes, in the core foundations.. which is annoying as hell if you're developing as you have to keep rebooting..

420mb here also on my Macbook and iMac. Wireless performance has increased slightly over wireless-n connections, haven't tested enough to see if the dropouts have stopped (although it's been pretty good lately anyways).

Damn ISP refusing to contact BT about resetting my noise margin.. I'm now a full 1Mbit behind my actual speed, which makes downloading anything a chore!

God I wish I lived in a cabled area.. 420MB on 750kbps :mad::mad::mad:

I'm on 1.5mb so I'm not too far behind.

Yes, but I'm meant to be on 1750kbps, which is why I'm so annoyed.

Sometimes I wonder what they'd do if I offered to cable the fibre to the nearest cabinet myself.. I have the resources, but BT would probably moan.
