some people are listing rubbish,

e.g. fast + furious, kill bill, coach carter

imo resevoir dogs and monty python are there, not sure on the rest of my list

and i also like the way people say 'in no order at all' then number their film choices!!!

edit: collateral and pulp fiction as well

The Shawshank Redemption. It's the greatest film never to win an Oscar and one of (if not the) the best films of all time. Everyone needs to see it before they die. Nuff said.

Is there a point there somewhere???

Who are you to say whats rubbish and what isn't? These are peoples opinions/ favourite films.

What did you expect? Everyones list to be exactly the same, and in total agreement, with yours???

I think his point, and I agree with him, is that if you were going to die surely you'd want to watch some films that had artistic merit or made you think a bit or moved you emotionally. Sure, Fast and Furious might be someone's favourite film ever but to suggest it as a must see is missing the point entirely, it's a 2 hour music video.

Funny, I thought the cars were the stars. :D

Anyway, what one person finds emotionally stimulating may not be the case for another. To blatantly say that "people are posting rubbish" is biggoted to say the least.

I personally agree that the fast and the furious is not a great film and certainly isn't on my list. Kill Bill, however, is because in my opinion its a great film and would be in my top ten. For me its a fresher take on Tarantino's usual post modernistic violence/ gangster/ crime/ assassin genre.

The point I'm making is this post is a sharing of opinions, not a place to **** each other off and tell people that there choices are "rubbish".
