£100 off LG 34UC79G Freesync 1ms 144Hz Gaming Monitor with OCUK!

Yes I have emailed them see what happens as it is a great monitor but I am still at a loss as to what GPU to get especially if the rx 580 is worse than the 1070 and the recommendations are for an AMD card.

Vega56 if you can manage it, about £390. Will power this monitor VERY nicely for a good while :cool:

Speak to OcUK, just explain you mistakenly put the order through without putting the code in and they may be able to do something for you :)
 
I always find discussions about Graphics Cards interesting but give me lots of good Ideas, Overclockers response to my email was that the Ghost Recon promo was over and they had no spare codes no mention of the 20% discount even though I had said Daniel - LG had kindly given me a code. It is a great monitor but a discount of almost £100 would have been a nice starter towards a good card or some other item I just feel a little let down from Oveclockers after missing out on this offer that is still valid, and thank's for the advice JediFragger I will give it a go.
I have looked at the Vega 56 and it looks to be a decent card.

ALL - please be aware - the Ghost Recon Game codes are valid until 30th September - so only 19 days of validity left

the £100 off however will remain until stocks run out :)
 
I may be able to buy a monitor and expense through work to help with tax reasons.

Currently in the market for a new screen after smashing my 29" ultrawide.

Has anyone got one of these and sitting around 60-70cm away?

I tried connecting my 32" TV and found it far too big at the distance I am Sat and wonder with the smaller height of the wide-screen would it be better?
