£10K convertable

Right, lad at work currently drives an Alfo 156 2.0 TSpark.

He is after a car, must be a convertable and he wants it on finance. Other requirements are:

2000 upwards
Wants to spend £10K but may go up to £13K for right car.

Thats it, suggestions please!

The only ones I would consider would be either an S2000 or an E36 M3.

Elise.
VX220.

Would be my top choices for that money. Followed by an S2000.

I'd choose and elise perosnally, depends on his requirements though. Does he need it less hardcore than the elise ? Does he mind a nuts revving engine ? If he wants something practical, fun, but not as fast the mx5 is a winner. Less than the Hardcore elise = s2000,

failing that, a Z3 might fall into that bracket with the v6,

Elise though for me.

thanks for all the suggestions so far.

Currently he is just after a list of what cars he can afford so he can then look them up, compare insurance etc.

It doesnt have to be powerful either, just ANY convertable in this price range!

Top end of that budget will see you in a TT, no idea why you would want to but its an option
