if its ntl your talking about the 75 gig doesnt apply,
i've been hitting 200 gig/month for the last 4 months and they havent batted an eyelid
They appear to be fairly lenient, but if policy says if you keep going over the limit, and by a lot, they will change your service to a much slower package (if memory serves me right, 512k down / 64k up).
I am toying with the idea but do appeox 85 gigs a month - upping more thanI download tbh
this includes working from home and leisure use...

What happens if I reach my monthly usage allowance?
Over the next 12 months, ntl will provide tools to allow you to measure your data usage. When these tools are available, if you approach your data allowance, you will be able to:
reduce your data usage for the remainder of the month or
re-grade to a tier of service with a higher usage allowance.
Until these tools are available, ntl will monitor usage but not apply the monthly usage allowances, except in cases where heavy use is affecting network performance.
