I don't have my new phone yet, but I wanna buy some of these games for 10p while they're on this sale, if I buy them using a web browser, will they be saved on my account so I can download them for free when I do get my phone? Never used an android before so I just want to clarify how it works.

Unfortunately not. You need an Android device tied to your account in order to purcase apps.

Maybe someone knows of a way around that?

Aedus: If what NuclearWinter says is true about needing it tied to an account you could log in on someones phone once, and then you should be able to buy apps. If you don't know anyone who'll do it for you I'm sure someone here would do it for you (obviously change the password before hand, then change it back after they've logged in) .

My mate has a SGS2. So I could tie his phone to my account, and then delete it after and tie my own to my account, allowing me to use games I've purchased to be downloaded on my phone?

Asphalt 6 is awesome. Me (nexus s) and my mate (ipad2) had a race with each other over the local wifi. Not bad for 10 pence or free in the Samsung app store.
