1156 intel cpu cooler not that bad...

Interesting - You're using the 21x multi so you still have all the energy saving enabled. Which BIOS revision are you running?

Is LLC enabled or disabled?

Sounds like you have an excellent chip, What's the FPO ? ...it's printed on the label on the box, should look something like "L924B290T" - that's mine anyway.

Yea, sounds like you have a better chip than most of us do, at least from the temperatures and overclocks you are describing so far anyway, I look forward to seeing what you can get out of it on a decent cooler.

Yours is a week 32, mine is a week 24 anyway.

Apparently (think I remember a don saying this) the OEM 750's are better clockers than the retail ones... but he's using a retail one as he has the cooler haha, so I dont know! Hope mine ends up a good clocker when I get it, never seem to have much luck

This is crazy. !!

Your getting pretty similar temps as I am managing with my 920 @ 4ghz under a Corsair H50 ( I get 40 idle , 75 load ) , push pull fan configuration. I only have 1.23v as well compared to the 1.4+.
If this is correct then you have one of the best i5's i have seen m8.

im as amazed as everyone normally they are rubbish but for sum reason its pretty cool….

If I put my hand above the intel cooler you can feel the up draft of hot air going through the 3 120mm top exhaust fans. Maybe its just the setup of the cosmos s case being that theres quite a gap between mother board and the bolting plate on the case meaning that airs travelling over both side of the motherboard???

I don’t know but it seems to be looking :)

ES chip's usually don't have the model number and ES in brackets after the clock speed.
