Why? I have this forum for that :p your sarcasm even imply it has mission accomplished lol

Thanks, always good to identify new people to put on ignore. :)

Anyway back on topic, really looking forward to this new season, I just want some closure now!

Happy for you to, clearly my post was in jest.

Anyway I'm looking forward to watching it glad so much is airing in one go. No breaks to worry about :)

I *really* have to start this show! Been swearing to for a while and not gotten around to it. Is this the last season?

Yep. 4th season is the last. Not started watching it (4th) yet, but seasons 2 and 3 were great. 1 was very good, but it was slow to start. Definitely don't judge it on the first half of season 1, as a friend of mine did. It improves in the second half of the season and just gets better and better.

Thanks for the tip :)

Agree, all nicely tied up, but with a twist. And we now know where that ancient corpse, the source of the virus, in the Night Room back in season 1 came from.

great finale and the slight twist
so is it the red forest or not as everyone had just too perfect a ending

I would argue that Season 1 was the best, it had a gritty and realistic feel like the movie. Season 2 and 3 was when it started to get too convoluted for its own good and I feel it lost something as a result.

Felt same, still watched season 2 and 3 barely but gave up overall. I may one time redo the whole series since its only 4 seasons and it probably feels it would be better to binge watch it.

Apparently Syfy UK aren't picking up season 4, so Netflix or Amazon may get it instead.

Both Syfy and Universal (they're owned by the same company) seem to be in a spiral of decline when it comes to showing anything decent these days.

Finished watching this recently. Great cast. Loved the way they ended it, was very satisfying.

The only problem I found was there were too many filler episodes. If they took them out and made it into 3 seasons it would have been better. Would have loved to see a lot more Gaius Baltar in this, shame we don’t see James Callis more often.

Overall happy I watched it :)

I finished Season 4 the other day too, a great ending and the final season had some excellent episodes. I'm really glad I went back and watched it from the very start too, there's some nice throwbacks in later episodes that I'd probably have missed otherwise.

The only thing about season 4 that did disappoint me was...

Them taking half the season to find the machine in the 15th Century, only for it to be destroyed. They've used that tactic too many times before, it just felt cheap.

Not sure how I'll get my fix of Amanda Schull now, I got bored of Suits years ago.

That is a fair comment. Everything worked out; even Cole re-appearing after being removed from history in order to heal time. Happy yes, but rather convenient that it all worked out for the good guys.

Couldn't have been the red forest though, because it was not the ending Olivia wanted. ;)

I'm OK with it, because there was closure. Too many shows are just cut short with no closure at all, like Colony. Still peeved at that.

Yes. At the time I thought WTF. They spend ages trying to find the weapon, only to be in the presence of it for 5 minutes, then the bad guys show up and destroy it.

However; that made sense (weapon being destroyed) when in later episodes we learn what it was supposed to do. We always assumed it was going to destroy Olivia. Had Cole got into it, then it surely would have just ended there. ;)

That really would have been an anti climax compared to the ending we eventually did get. :)

As for Amanda Schull
Oh my word. That episode where she and Cole went to steal what they thought was the weapon from the Nazi's, and she used that costume as a distraction. Wow!
