12 to 15 year old gangs

Sounds like there's a general increase in shoplifting this year:

I like the one quote

At the same time, security firms are reporting a “massive increase in pensioners shoplifting” driven by cost-of-living pressures. John Nussbaum, director of service for retail for security services provider Kingdom Service, told PA News: “For us over the last 12 months, we’ve got this different level of crime now. We’re now experiencing something different—pensioners, people who don’t normally shoplift.”

Just saw 2 walking coppers in town and nearly asked. Why arnt you out and about after 3pm and weekends, holidays. Its always quietest time of day i see you.
Newcastle? sometimes you will see them on foot walking through parks etc but only when it's summer and really nice weather.. it's not a patrol it's a nice summer walk during police time.

I once cycled along the coast road as well and saw about 10 cops stood at the side of the road looking at the beach etc....

The thing is they are on what's basically a cliff edge and wouldn't be able to get down to the actual beach anytime soon if anything kicked off.

they aren't there to police, it's obvious....

Police force is the middle class dole office

This one just happened in Kent -
BBC News - Three children arrested on suspicion of murder

14, 15 and 16 years of age.

I am not saying these things never happened in the past but is it just better reporting, capturing local incidents and making them viewable nationally, or is there a significant uptick in kids killing people?

Yeah just seen that.

No think it happening more especially petty crime as they no they will get away with it with labels etc. Even murder they will only get tried a kid so not as much time given. I dont go out looking for trouble as said but think it about time we can carry self defence as legal with out having to worry about consequences as said it is happening more and not just been reported more.

You should be able to report them on your local facebook by putting pictures up and if know names then you should be able to name them but you cant as it gets taken down. They know they have law on there side. A few round me been seen with sling shots killing birds and post got taken down as face was on social media. But thing is starting out killing animals just for fun at that age does normally go on to harming or even killing people when the kick of killing animals gets out of there system.

Which part of your own post do you disagree with?

e:

My post doesn't show support for the previous government, you've just jumped to that conclusion. I'm sure your head is probably shoved to deep up there for you to admit the mistake is yours, however ;)

Schools and wider society have been suffering a decline in standards for a long time. Not to say that the past was perfect but it's obvious that things are going pretty terribly wrong here.

I won't do a @dowie (love you dude) on this point but "unfortunately the wet do-gooders are in charge and will just let it happen." suggests that if someone else were in charge it would be somehow different. Someone else was in charge before and things didn't seem dramatically better.

Anyway, all good and I didn't mean to offend you. The grass isn't always greener though.

I said you wouldn't admit fault ;)

I forgive you however, and potentially I could have explained my point in more depth.

We've had two issues around my area in London recently.

First was when I drove to the local newsagents and popped in for 60 seconds to grab something to eat, when I came out, I saw three youths masked up on ebikes and one of them had my car door open and was rummaging around.

I tap the external handle to lock the car, and it must not have registered as I was rushing in. I stupidly approached them and asked what they were doing and told them to jog on. Then they berrated me to not locking my car properly. Luckily there was nothing to take and they sped off.

Then a few days ago in the middle of the day on our pretty quiet street, a lady had her phone nicked out of her hand by two masked up kids on an ebike, one of which we think was a young girl. Some normal bikes nicked from a driveway too.
