120mm Delta's

oh right lol. not two years then :p

but anyway, people just dont know how loud they are. Some people will buy them anyway because they dont believe us, but few of those people keep them:p i've no idea why lol delta's are for the hardcore guys who dont care about their eardrums. Seriously, just dont bother :o

saying that its kinda true i didnt believe it when i turned em on but stuck with em for 6 months, and then i decided to go for quieter still use em as spares for lan partys etc, they was helpful at i26.

Cant they be quiet at 5volts or lower. I find the beast I have is not a silent fan but is quietish at 5 volts.
I put it unsecured into a case just to try out and the whole fan tries to rotate on itself when turned on (it starts rolling forward  ) . More like starting a car then a fan and thats at 5 volts.

It could used on the outside of a computer to keep yourself cool on really hot days maybe :D

Perfect fans for some serious fan flow. Cool vid Jokester, but that doesnt do the noise justice :p

A mate has 2 of these. One intake and 1 out take on his case. Never uses them now lol, he wants peice and quiet ;)

Ideal if you have headphones on all the time, listening to music. Thats what I did when I had a 92mm Tornado on my SLK-948U @ 7v, 2 80mm tornado's @ 7v as intake fans and 1 80mm tornado as outtake. Put it this way, a lot of air flow went thru the case.

These Delta's are the bee's knee's if you want the best air flow.

a delta is like standing behind a 747 as is powers up for takeoff, and im not joking at all, you cant imagine how loud they are till you try one.

I had 6 on a HE 120.3 2 years ago that went into a system where the guy said ' i dont care about noise it can be as loud as you want, i want the best water cooling possible.'
He ate his own words, even 3 at the lowest running voltage was too loud for him.

Thanks for the video jokester, they do seem quite noisy lol..

High Pitch ZZZZZZZZZZzzzz Noise.. hmm..

I thought they would sound like something just pushing a hell of a lot of air lol.. Not a dying Bumble Bee :p

How loud!!! Step to finding out

1: Lay on the runway @ Heathrow and relax, every 7 mins you'll be remind of it along with the contuinse ringing

2: Lay head next to Dyson vacum cleaner and turn on, 12 hours at a time should do it

3: Be brave and get one!!!

4: Call me up and check mine out

That pic showing it with a Molex is i duno i never had any (12) come like that. All have a 3 pin mobo header on them. I've modded them as that but thats it.

DON;T PLUG TO MOBO IT GOES BANG AND SMOKES THE MOBO

Fan gard is adviced

Women with long hair stay away (ask my mates misis hehehe)

190cfm is cool

So cool we made a skirt for the fan so it is a now a hover fan

Well, i just had 4 of these in my Lian Li pc 65b (80mm's). They were fine untill i moved my PC to the same level as my head. 2 days like that and i went partially deaf. Even when there throttled right down, there way to noisy !
As everyone has said, they shift some serious air...

I swapped the deltas for some AC ryan Blackfires and the temps have not moved a bit.....The case remains @ 25 and CPU @ 35-36 (idle) and 42-44 (load).

Goodluck, and remember to buy some earplugs when you buy the 120mm delta :D
