120mm Delta's

Well, I ran 2 of them, along with a couple of 80mm FF Delta's and a 172x150mm Papst (About 650CFM IIRC, ran as main rig, 8hrs/day for about a year).

To reiterate a few things already said on here.
1) They are loud, very very loud. If you have to ask if you can put up with it, you can't.
2) They hurt when you put your fingers in them. It fractured my right thumb. I have scars.
3) They have a Gyroscopic effect. When unmounted, and moved, see number 2 for likely results.
4) For hardcore Air-Coolers only. normal people do not NEED that kind of airflow.

A delta broke your thumb?! heh  :D

I reckon the gyroscopic effect could start to warp ally cases eventually with the 190cfm models :/

It baffles me that the 80mm delta fan comes with a three pin header, well it did a few years ago when my mate plugged it into his motherboard and it killed all his mb fan headers. At 12volts it made such a racket, delta is no joke.

I decided to go watercooling after i bought a 60mm delta for my cpu hs, it was so loud, i could hear at night in my bedroom which was a flour above. I can only imagine that a 120mm is gonna sound like a dyson. The worst this is maybe u can overpower it with music but at night u cant and during playing something like cs u wont hear any footsteps or err anything. Fk delta man lol :D

How long before some nut puts 9 in a Stacker 830? :p

The resulting mini hurricane could be used as a student WMD, i doubt the surrounding area would ever be the same again..

Edit:combine that with a Qtec PSU and you can add a fireball into the equation as well :D

Hahahaha... but the fans wouldnt work once the PSU had exploded so theyw ould be unable to feed oxygen to fuel it.

Dual PSU setup, PCP&P 1000w for the deltas :p and q-tec for the system

Dont forget that you cant even say "ill run them quiet and keep the spare cooling power for when i need it" because the engine ticks so loud @ 5v it sounds like a familiy of poltergeist monkeys. And theyre still REAL LOUD.
