looks like it was the monitor driver for me all along. but sorted it now and got it working.

What did you do to fix it. Im round my mates house and he just got the Yusmart 32" today and a dvi-hdmi cable outputing from an x1600. Cant seem to get 1360x768 to work, image is stretched passed the boundary of the screen but running 1280 x 768 looks perfect. Obviously I would like to compare it to running at native so if you can tell me what you did to get 1360 x 768 working properly I would appreciate it.

give me a min while i upload the monitor driver i created for you.

Yusmart 32inch LCD driver

right above is the power strip settings for the monitor and the driver i created. once you enter all that in sit back and enjoy the ride. :D

once you install the driver the rez of 1360x768 will automatically be available for you to select but it may be a bit wonky. if you got an ati gfx card i found powerstrip to do the job perfectly. but if you use nvidia then you can correct the wonkyness in the screen adjustments windows within the nvidia drivers so no need for power strip.

Brilliant, thanks so much!

no problems at all mate. how is it running for you? im loving it here. im running my radeon 9800pro macine on this display for a little while (testing phase). thanks to the lowish resolution of 1360x768 the 9800pro quite easily cuts the mustard so far. but not tried read gangster games yet.

one thing for sure this screen needs AA applied to reduce all the jaggies that turn up.

here is a link to the review i did on it. bit rushed but if you can add your opinions about this screen to it then others can be more informed of how it is.

Its running beautifully. Not tried any games or anything as its basically just for use on a Media Centre but 720p content looks AMAZING. Watching Chronicles of Riddick and it almost looks TOO good, its blowing me away. After some more testing I will post my comments on your review post, but so far I am very impressed.

Another Tip
generate profiles for 1364x768 to 1368x768 If You want to use the panel for windows /internet etc sometimes the TV scalers give nicer results (If the TV has the type of scaler that displays full screen, rather than cropping pixels)

Firstly You need to find out if your TV will support 1:1 resolutions,,,try AVforums

Powerstrip just creates resolution profiles that fool the driver into thinking the new range of resolutions are ok to use with the display, much like the displays (EID) Or somesuch abbreviation lets the Graphics card know about it's capabilitys resolution/refresh rate etc

Follow Your nose with powerstrip just create a custom resolution and save it !
there are other little programs that do a similar thing

I will also say nvidia's drivers virtually do away with the need for powerstrip as they can generate custom resolutions...AtI is lacking in that department :(

Then of course you need a resolution the game is happy to run at, start with the common 1024x768 sort of thing and work up
