**14 DAYS SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!**

Excellent news, and great post - this has lifted the cloud over the reputed poor CS for me, and restored confidence somewhat. I'll be shopping with overclockers again.

Impressive to be honest.

and to Creed, the DSR is effective from the date it was delivered, not ordered!

The 7 day DSR actually starts from the next working day after the delivery day. EG: you get an item delivered Friday. Your DSR starts on Monday.

Also, great news on the 7 day extension :)

When the cooling-off period starts

The seven working day cooling-off period usually starts on the day after you receive the goods.

But the trader has to tell you in writing:

your right to a cooling off period
how to cancel your order
who is responsible for returning goods
who has to pay the cost of returning goods if you cancel in the cooling-off period
information about any after-sales service
the address to use for complaints

If you don’t get this information, your cooling-off period extends up to a maximum of three months and seven working days. For example if the trader takes one month to tell you in writing, you get a cooling-off period of one month and seven working days.

Literally if I fail to hit 5ghz on a cpu I can send it back within 14days claiming DSR?

Within the 14 days you can return the item opened. However we would prefer you to return unopened or keep the product as new as possible, as it will be a loss to us otherwise.

As we want to give the best support we can to our customers we cannot compensate everything. If you were to abuse this policy we may remove the 14 satisfaction guarantee.

It is there for a cover, and it is not there to rent items from us to see if items are any good.

For example, if you were to buy 10 speakers, try them all out and return 9 that you do not like, it would be unfair to us, and we would see this, and we could reject this. It depends on the products, how the products are treated and how the customer is using the policy.

It is all about being fair, we trust you in using the policy, as you would trust us to accept them back. :)

If you want a guaranteed overclock best bet is to buy an overclocked bundle, that way you can return it if it doesn't meet specified clocks

Correct, also we can give support over the forums, webnotes, phone, or if you are local you can bring it down or send it back to us depending on how difficult it is to sort, and what is easiest for the customer. :)

Im impressed.

Around the web if you read stories about OCUK, OCUK has a reputation for very poor customer service. Many people prefer to buy at a higher price from a competitor.

The fact that you are willing to put this customer satisfaction guarantee in writing, in a public forum, is a good move for your reputation. I hope this gains you more custom and allows you to prove that your customer services are able to rival your competition.

Would like to say couple of things.

OCUK has one of the best customer service reps i've dealth with. Whenever i have a query theres always a reply and a fast one. pre-orders, after sales, on one occasion i even asked if there is a chance to get few photos of the product and accessories, and guess what, thats right OCUK provided.

Not sure what was the problem with services before, but for as long as i have shopped with OCUK, not a single problem.

I have returned few items under 14 days, no problems there either, just pay postage and thats about it. Very impressed. Before i consider anyone else OCUK comes first, and then i consider them again as a 2nd choice! :D

I've never had any problems with OCUK, on the few occasions I've had to contact customer services (today being one) I have had promt replies and good advice/information.

Wouldn't hesitate before recommending them to anyone :)

This is what we want to see! Glad to hear that you are all happy with the service. If there are any improvements you think we can make then please let me know in the customer service section, it is nice to hear feedback. :)

Well I'm chuffed to bits. Won the gigabyte comp last week and bought myself a 7850 for £130 using the voucher. The cards gone up by £20 so i've saved myself a tidy £70. Oh and OcUK threw in a free grenade (pun intended) with my order.

If OcUK provide bad service then I must be shopping at all the wrong places because they are miles ahead of everyone else.

Keep up the good work :)
