Anyone who'd been given 150k wouldn't be thinking of wasting it on a car..
If you were a Millionare or a very rich person (£500,000+) then I could see you doing it.
However, if you've cleared 20k of Debts with it, you best bet would be to spend £20-40k on a nice new car and stick the rest in the bank.
I just see this thread as a huge attempt to whip out your internet elephants trunk

No way I'm reading 10 pages of this thread, but Phil's advice is the most sound. You will get over your car anyway and 150k will be gone. Make the money last and work for you.
I think I would only consider spending that kind of dosh if I had deffo sorted house out etc etc...
But, if then I had spare money to just buy transport... get the R32 as a run about, and a 2nd hand Noble M12 to hoon about at weekends. Save the rest of money for a rainy day
