Listen, i dont want "life" advice, i just posted for some advice on a car to buy, if i wanted to buy another house i would but i dont to buy 2 houses. I've read before about someone buying a Porshe 911, think it was Spie. Maybe you pick on people that arent "Dons".

For negative people, please read the OP.

If you had half a brain, and most people with the means to buy this sort of car do, and you wanted serious suggestions from this forum, you'd have posted 'Imagine you had 150k - what car would you buy?'

You'd then have got nothing but sensible suggestions from a bunch of people who would have assumed it was purely a dream car thread. You'd then have got all the ideas you wanted.

But no, it had to be a I HAVE LOADS OF CASH thread, when its almost certain you probably dont, or if you do you certainly wont have for long given it appears you have the financial nouse of a squashed fruit.

We cant give you advice on what car to buy. a £150k car is a purely irrational purchase for anyone, therefore it is bought and selected purely for irrational reasons. You dont use a £150k car to go from A to B. You dont buy one just to be 'A car'. None of the cars available for £150k are intended to be used as, or are even designed to be used as, conventional normal cars. This is why your thread is crap, this is why you are getting the **** taken out of you.

£150k cars are things like supercars. You dont buy a Ferrari F430 over a Lambo because the cupholders are better and the dealer backup is slightly nicer. You buy one for totally irrational reasons, the cheif being becuase you just 'want' one. Thats the sort of cars that cost this much money.

You don't even BEGIN to have a clue.

The reason why Spie didn't get any hassle, nor did Housemaster, is because neither said LOLZ GUYS LOOK AT MY HUDGE WAD OF CASH?!?!?! LOL WHAT CAR!!!!. They asked specific questions with definate criteria.

You've done none of this.

If you DO buy a £150k car, which I doubt, I rather suspect you'll crash it within a week anyway.

Buy a house/save it if i were you. Most fancy cars you can buy for some large sum will have it's value drop faster than a whores knickers. Leave yourself 10-20k to play with and get something nice.

Comparing youself to Spie is like comparing a grape with a bottle of fine wine.

LOL, Maybe you misread my OP? I said MAX 150k. I didnt say I HAVE TO SPEND 150K OR I WILL FEEL INDAQUEATE(Spelling?). Jesus, relax! Im not a car enthuastist but i do like nice cars like some Porsche/Aston Martin/Lambo etc. Stop being so evil!

I'm pretty sure that when Spie chose to purchase the Porsche 997 Turbo, he at least knew a lot about it. The same with his order of a 599 I'm guessing. You however, have posted a thread asking people what car to buy, as you haven't any idea.

People with that amount of cash to spend on a car, know what they're going to buy.

OMG, I seriously regret asking for advice in this forum. What the **** is wrong with some of you? Im not trying to gloat, i dont need to. Anyway, all i was asking for is advice with a max budget of 150k, other threads say the same, just because its a bigger amount doesnt make me any different to the rest? Does it?

Please please please do not spend that kind of cash on a car. Invest it sensibly and you will reap the rewards. ***** it on a car and all you'll wind up with is massive depreciation.

When you are spending this money on a car, I seriously advise the old "Heart > Head" rule. If you take advice over a computer forum, where probably about 3 people are in the same situation as you, on what car to buy, you are going to be seriously disappointed.

For example, if I was in your situation, my head would say Aston V8, but I know in the end I would end up with a Chimarea or a Sagaris

Have you even bothered to read the replies properly?
