16 year old bullying a Syrian refugee with a broken arm, choking and waterboarding him

The news is complete tosh these days.
center Left vs. Center right and a fringe of lunatics on both sides but mainly left.
Everything has to be heavily spun and drawn out to be Us vs Them. Everything.
It is so freaking boring on a global scale.

I would love for aliens to come to earth now and just tell us we are small petty insignificant specs of ****.

Exactly, it's so insignificant.

10,000 people have donated an average of about £15. About as much as a take-away for two. Some of the more annoyed people seem to think people are donating their entire life savings lmao. And these same people who seem to be most annoyed seem to be desperate for the cash themselves lol.

Is this really so much to be whining about.

This entire charade is absolutely hilarious when you break it down into the chain of events.

Some emotional video ends up on a few social media feeds. The video elicits an immediate emotional response and this causes some people to donate a tiny amount of money.

Some view hungry YouTubers (EG. this Sargon guy or whatever lol) are desperate for youtube views always standing by to blow things out of proportion with their constant complaining and whining. In their hunt for views they also propagate the INITIAL story so they are giving this campaign advertising for free just because they have to complain about it and make a massive issue about something which is so insignificant hahahaha.

People think this is about virtue signalling? It's a bloody short term emotional response, as well as a bit of "in your face haters". What's morality got to do with anything.

10,000 donators is really nothing when you consider it's been on mainstream news and at least millions upon millions of people have been exposed to this news.

Entertaining to watch the meter rise though. £154,000 I hope it goes to a quarter of a mill :D. More people who keep on whining about it the more it will keep on growing. Its hilarious to see how desperate and jealous people are.

Assuming I didn't skip over those parts, I wouldn't mind if he said "This is not racism, and the evidence that could suggest it was stemmed in racism is conjecture", but he has obviously not included it because it doesn't fit his narrative.

If I was to sit here and say some guy with ISIS paraphernalia at home, who went and attacked some white British person, was not a racist you'd be calling me a moron and rolling your eyes.

But as the evidence that this could be stemmed in racism doesn't fit the narrative of whatever the video is trying to push, it is ignored.

Even the posters above... "racist attack? really??" Imagine me saying that in a thread where a white person had been choked by an ISIS follower and tell me you wouldn't think I was a moron.

How so? The bigger kid is obviously a bullying **** and the smaller lad was his latest target, BUT, you can clearly hear him saying something along the lines of "what are you going to say now" or similar. I bet that the smaller lad isn't as angelic as the press are making out, as it seems he's done something to possibly cause the bigger lad to attack him.

Nothing racist is said between them, it even sounds to me (from the video) that one of the bigger lads mates might be foreign; or I'm just mishearing the Northern accents.

So, again, how is this altrication between two children racist?

I'm not repeating what I said in the original meesage. If you're not capable of comprehending what I said there, with regards to switching the situation to someone who had ISIS paraphanalia and members in their family, and the probability therein of any actions that person has made, then I can't really help you there.

Right. What the hell does ISIS have to do with two children fighting at school? You have watched the video I assume - you do know it's not a beheading or waterboarding incident at a school? It's an altrication between two lads, one bigger than the other, and the smaller of which is forced to the floor by his neck and has water tripped on him.

As I understand it, this happened a while ago and was all sorted, but the video did the rounds and all hell broke loose in the media, as shock horror - the smaller lad was a refugee from Syria (seven years ago apparently).

From what I could take of the Sargon video, he was speaking about how the entire incident had nothing to do with racism, and was just two children in a fight!

Are you able to understand that now?

We already know that we are insignificant on a cosmic scale.

We already know that our individual lives are insignificant on a global scale.

What matters most to humans is the self. This is well known, and your alien encounter would probably not change anything (for long).

Star Trek - where an alien encounter united humanity and caused it to work for the collective good of all - is pure fiction. The selfish desire of the individual trumps all.

A Syrian kid with a mother who was arrested for race related rhetoric, a brother who was involved with ISIS, and then kid himself sharing links of Chowdry and other extremist Islamic rhetoric chokes a with a white kid with a broken arm and you'll the first one there arguing for it being nothing to do with racism/Islamic extremism etc. Give me a break.

Balance of probabilities. Go Google it if you're unsure of what it means.

I'll give you the courtesy of a reply to this, seen as its the bit I have apparently struggled with.

I'd not call you a moron nor roll my eyes, no. You know why, because the example you give would be Terrorism.

As far as I know, the groups you claim motivated the bigger lad to have a playground scrap, are not considered as terrorist organisations, in the way that ISIS are. Sure they have some questionable ideals, and act like *****, but they aren't terrorists (yet).

So you have your answer, I'd not call you a moron, or roll eyes at you.

So you're honestly saying, that as the bully has a 'racist' mother (in quotes as we all know it doesn't mean what it used to), a brother who was violent at a far-right/right march (any details on what he did out of interest), and has posted/retweeted questionably content, he is automatically racist? Though that 'balance of probability' means that overwhelming evidence must be supplied? Frankly, I don't think your A, B and C facts cut it imo mate.
