Snap!

We never seem to get any exciting thunderstorms. :(

I'll never forget the one we had about 4 years ago!. It went pitch black, at 11am - then all hell broke loose with an almight thunderstorm, and very heavy rain.:cool:

Well, after letting my cat out, I panicked so left the back door open and went back to bed. I checked it an hour or two later and the kitchen had a huge puddle in the middle of the floor :/

not really anything here in London despite the forecast. Yesterday heard very faint rumble of thunder and then later had a heavy rain storm. BBC site still saying thunder storms but doesn't feel like it is going to happen. Shame, I like storms :(

Had an awesome storm here from 9AM to about 11AM. Loudest thunder I've ever heard in my life. My bed shook a few times.

Their weakness is evident...!!! <grabs supersoaker 5500XT Smackdown in your house!>

Bah, you should try living in the Midwest USA. We get huge thunderstorms pretty much every week. In fact last week we had storms 4-5 days running. And we're talking storms that can produce baseball size hail and drop tornados if they feel like it............not the polite little British storms you get back home :p

Go to Orlando to experience a thunder storm.

The storm just passed my house last night at about 7, rained for 2 hours cooled the house down and its bloody warm and sunny again today, just sunbathing in the garden. :D

There's no power at home   (I'm at work before you naysayers say anything) Crapola, that means no net connection :( DS it is then

No rain, it absoltuly shot it down for at least 20 mins here (Ingleby Barwick). The gutters on neally every house in the street were overflowing no egsaduration . I had to run round and close all the open windows and back door that i had and other people left open from this morning.

I think i remember that, i think it was a sunday morning in august, it went really cold as well could hardly see the road from our house. Cars must have only been doing about 10mph on the main road behind us with their lights on, street lights and everything came back on. Half an hour later it was bright and sunny again like nothing had happened.

In Swindon It Woke me up at about 2-3am And Shook the house. Since I reside in the loft it was very loud.. Big flashes and very loud bangs. I thought the Ruskies were invading.. (No Offence Intended to Any Russians on the forum).

It was raining most of the morning but has dried up nicely now!
