Interesting thread..

I personally will be waiting a while before picking up my new card, until they come down in price.

And also to wait and see how everybody else get on with them as well.

@TNA, is that for real man, or is it fake?

You would have to be a nutter to even think about attempting something like that!

Don't understand how people are supprised by this, it's a high end card with no competition they will charge a premium...at least until nvidia release their card.

I have no problem with spending £350 on a high end card, so long as it's not dual gpu based.

Nice to see ATI back in the game with a solid single gpu based cards, well at least in comparision to last gen.

You are just one of the problems with this industry. And the reason why manufacturers, etailers and retailers can get away with ripping us consumers off without any negative repercussions, rather the opposite.

We need to voice our opinions with our wallets, and sometimes that means swapping greed for sense. I hope that if these cards come out at silly prices, people will have the sense to calm down a bit with purchases, to let AMD know that we aren't happy with prices climbing back to the way they used to be not so long ago.

Nvidia cards are a lot more at launch and people still buy them, wait and see what the gt380 is and then moan because it will come in at a lot more then 300.
