£1850 Budget for Gaming Rig, Monitor snd Rift Bundle.

I have about 30 of them in the loft along with miles and miles of other assorted redundant cable.

I may be about after 12 so will look out for your posts if orbital is busy - but he's usually looking for an excuse to shy away from work :D

No worries lads, thanks again!! Amazon fellas getting jumped the moment he turns up;)

Ive even decided to give myself tomorrow off to finish up the cable management and set up the rift and have a play!!

Chipset from AMD and Nvidia drivers, and the drivers you need for your motherboard - from the site so up to date.

Remember to check the BIOS version as soon as you're in there.

Drivers are a mine field;), I've got a load downloading, once I have them in a folder I will take a screen shot so you can see what I've downloaded and hopefully what's right and what's wrong.

So far I have really enjoyed the process, I just hope what ive done so far is right!

I've put the VR panel in, for tidiness I've only connected the HDMI for now, I've already got 2 x USB 3.0 on the front and I didn't want to pull the 2 x usb leads through the machine and have them coming out the back and going in to ports ;)

So on the front I've got:

1 x HDMI
2 X USB3.0

And on the back:

4 x USB 3.0
2 X usb 3.1 (what is 3.1?)
3 x HDMI (1 motherboard 2 x GPU ) What would I use the one on the MB for?
4 X Display Port
1 X VGA
1 X DVI

I think I'm good with all that!

I hope the BIOS is up to date, I wouldn't know what to do if its not? I am downloading F10 now but god knows what to do with it?

Cheers again lads, you've been brilliant!

I know i shouldnt but i got a bit bored, i tieded the cables up a bit and put the sides back on.

I think i might make up a shroud of some sort to hide the cables at the bottom. I take it theres no way of removing the power cables im not using from the PSU.

Really happy with though lads, fingers crossed the rest goes smoothly
