Sub abilities aren't that important. I got a double s rank without optimising anything, and even having random primary abilities too.

Just looked online... Apparently you can swap the perks on your clothing. It's the guy on the right next to multiplayer entrance. I didn't know this either.

Do these perks really benefit.... I've just got to B rank with pretty much standard one slot gear.

On another note... I didn't know this had single player too...... Haha

Ah I didn't know this cheers , will have a look tonight as I have unlocked the 2nd items slot on some of my clothes , didn't know how to activate though !
 
Although I usually just sleep and resume my console with the game ready to go, I wish that annoying video of the 2 girls could be skipped when launching the game from the start. Annoyed me in the original too

1.5 weeks in and I'm not too bothered about the chatty intro. In another 1.5 though I might not feel so great about it!

Also - 20k to scrub an item? I scrubbed the Splatfest tee which was OK at 2k but 20k? Hmm maybe I should stop buying stuff.

And you need 60 pieces to fully upgrade a single item of clothing. You're better off re rolling until you get two of the attribute you want and then spending 30 pieces on the last slot.
 
I think I'm just going to play and let the money mount up. I am at 3 stars for all my gear I'm not sure what I need or whether it really makes that much difference yet. I know the attributes stack so I imagine you could do some really interesting things with that. I noticed one on my Splatfest tee which says it doubles the value of all other attributes on your other gear - that's got to be a handy one. Anyway early days I don't need to get into all that just yet. Going to focus on trying to get up to A rank. I rarely play TW anymore it's just not as much fun compared to ranked. Capping the Rainmaker is truly a 'YES!' feeling. Love that.
 
Depends. It can end in less than a minute or more than 20 if you manage the three waves. It's fun though whatever. You'll get a tutorial when you first go in to get you up to speed on the bosses. It can be frustrating with randoms who die every two seconds. It's a blast though. When it's not high tide...and foggy... :)
 
Really enjoying this on the wee man's Switch. Bought the Splatoon Pro controller at the weekend and it definitely makes a difference. Though it is enraging when you get stuck with a useless team or the team that has 1 person not actually playing.

I am hoping this becomes a thing of the past once I reached Ranked mode. Seeing a team member score 0p means they didn't ink any ground at all right? So just AFK
 
Sometimes I have seen one player drop out right as the battle timer gets set. Bang 4v3. In the final score the players shows as ???????. Probably happened to me 3 or 4 times so far. I have seen AFKers though which is annoying. The time between rounds can be very short though so if you need to do something you need to do it quickly!

That really annoys me .... happened in the original Splatoon too. I guess the matches are so short it's hard to implement a "kick" option for the players on the disadvantaged party. Perhaps players going AFK / earning zero points should be frozen out of joining matches for several minutes afterwards ?
 
Enjoying salmon run! Does it get harder the higher level you are? It's a decent difficulty at the moment but that mode can offer more for sure!

How do the rewards work? There's a Tee as a weekly reward? I passed a Tee reward at 200p but didn't get anything so not really sure what that's all about?
