Depends. It can end in less than a minute or more than 20 if you manage the three waves. It's fun though whatever. You'll get a tutorial when you first go in to get you up to speed on the bosses. It can be frustrating with randoms who die every two seconds. It's a blast though. When it's not high tide...and foggy... :)

100 seconds per wave. At 190 percent salmon run become rather difficult!

I'm currently earning 60-80 eggs or run though.

The random weapons is a great idea as it forces people who only use the aerospray to learn how to use the other weapons.
 
Finally managed to fire this up last night after having it for a week or so un-played. Damn it is going to take a while for my brain to learn motion controls.

Using the Joycons in each hand helped a lot but I kept forgetting that the right stick doesn't aim up or down. 1000's of hours in Destiny takes quite a while to unlearn!

Managed to scrub my way through the first single player level and only died, er, a few times.... :o (I fell off the map in the hub zone trying to get to the level).

I could feel myself getting better near the end though which is always a good feeling.

Now to move on to multiplayer.... :D

Online is just as fun as Mario Kart online but without the randomness, although there is no real local multiplayer. It's an online only game with a token single player campaign.

100 seconds per I hadn't really noticed the clock to be honest. I only notice it when it is running out. 60-80 eggs per run? That's amazing I think the most I've hauled with randoms is 38!

I think the random weapons are a cool idea don't get me wrong - I just don't like all of them. I had the sniper rifle last night at high tide. Just not fun for me as I suck with it and I miss more than I hit and can't really contribute as much as I'd like.

I like to play Salmon Run for 30 minutes or so after work before I hit ranked play. I haven't got to the 3rd wave for a long time. Keep wiping or running out of time.

The salmon run is ranked so you're grouped with similar skilled allies. I range between 185-195%.
 
So i just had my first 3 rounds of turf war ( splatoon noob ) and had a lot of run. First round was a bit janky but came third killed someone and had a couple of deaths. the next two rounds however i somehow managed to be at the top of leaderboard. This said from what i've read you get placed with similar skilled players so no doubt im with all the noobs though some are around level 15 ??? I feel really uncomfortable with the motion controls at the moment but i can see why it's better than analogue. I will persist with motion until i get used to it.
 
That bucket is annoying AF playing against level 23s as a level 3 it just seems way OP like 1 hit kill from miles away and never missing.
 
The tri-slosher is properly broken in ranked play. In S+ Rank there are at least 2 of them on every team.

It will get nerfed soon.
 
Just lost my A+ rank, A and A- rank after loosing 30 battles in a row.

Perhaps I was doing something wrong but the teams I were with were awful...many of them playing as if it was turf war.

Dont think ill be playing for a while now............

It has to be you if you lost that many in a row.

People are starting to settle in their ranks now. Previously people were ending up in the wrong rank for their skill level and it may just be that with you.
