I'm torn between picking up a 590 or just going budget and picking up a 570.
Depending on realistic how much gaming you will be doing till next year, as it may be good to wait for 7nm GPU cards that will be coming next year.Maybe time to retire my HD7990 and move to the Sapphire Vega 64 Nitro+.
almost certainly means vega is going eol. but yea, dunno why you'd buy the 590 with the vega56 sat at 300 quid.Well the Vega 56 at £300 makes me wonder what the point of the 590 at £260/£270 is?
I'll overclock and turn down settings until I get a frame rate I'm happy with. That or run 3840 x 1440 1:1 on my Philips 4K screen. Not shelling out £600+ so I have little choice.I didn't think the Vega 64 was that powerful. Somewhere between a 1070 and 1080. For 4k I was under the impression you'd need a 1080ti/2080 to push 60fps at high settings.
Might as well pony up the extra and get a Vega 56 over the 590. Vega prices are a one-off according to Gibbo.
Been reading that apparently that sapphire pulse vega 56 uses lesser memory and different PCB board to other vegas so performance etc. isn't as good???
Hm , i hope that isnt true.
Tempted to swap out my GTX980 for a Vega 64... thoughts? 1440p 60hz..
As it's my birthday tomorrow, I'm going to order the Vega 64. By the time I've sold my 1070 and games, it would be a relatively cheap upgrade and have the ability to use freesync.
