18th, 19th and 20th Footy - CL and UEFA Cup *spoilers* galore! - Nedved still off

Im failing to see the relation between this round of CL games and Nedved being off? Thread title or not.
Ive probably missed a thread or something where it was a joke about something.

Im finding Youstolemyname funny. And im shocked at G|mp.
Youstolemyname is funny because he's obvioulsy watched the AC/Barca game through some heavily tinted glasses and im shocked at G|mp because for the first time that i can remember, he thinks that an Italian side can beat in English one! :p
lol.

Mmm your shocked about something that i dont even recall happening

Ive never said an Italian team couldnt beat an English one

oh ffs

When that round of CL games were going on there were quite a few of us on
discussing the games, someone posted about Nedved being sent off

Que lots of people not refreshing the thread and posting about Nedved being
sent off which was met by much mirth from the rest of us

Since then several people in spoiler threads have posted about Nedved being
sent off in threads where no one has mentioned Nedved/Juve/Iti's

It was all a joke and was funny

Guess you had to be there

Probably.
a lot of the 'jokes' on here arnt actually funny unless you are 'there'.
So i'll put it down to that. :)

Wow...talk about trying to be ignorant and annoying

You were told what it was many a time yet you still had to question it, so what if you dont find it funny, dont have to hear about it 4-5 times, we got the impression the first time

Yesterday's game was pretty boring and it seemed to me that Barcelona had more control of the game overall and for most of it looked fairly comfortable.

In the first half Milan threatened early on and both Sheva and Gilardino were unlucky not to have scored. I think it was a mistake starting Stam, his crossing was abysmal for the most part which really could have made a difference as he got into forward positions quite well. Cafu would have been much more effective. Ronaldinho was pretty poor for most of the match but he made the most important pass of the match so he'll be forgiven. :D

I can still see Milan winning at the Nou Camp but they are gunna have to get some derious determination as they looked decidely lacklustre yesterday, they hardly even pressed at all.

As for tonights match, well I really couldn't make a call. Arsenal still seem sketchy to me despite their great form in Europe so it could go either way - they'll either be majestic or pants. :)

Wow indeed. The conversation had ended without too much of a problem, and here you are trying to spark it further.

G|mp was kind enough to explain it.
Just because i didnt get it from the rarther pale atempts of doing so by just saying 'Nedved off, its a joke, Nedved off, its a joke, Nedved off, its a joke', is no reason for to claim that it has been explained. Because that is far from it.
As has been said, and agreed upon, by the two members of this forum probably least likely to agree on something, it must have been a 'got to have been there' thing rarther than a strait joke. Thats not ignorence. Thats not being there. Annoying is subjective as well. As ive said in a round about way, critising because i dont get the 'joke' isnt really applicable, as the joke wasnt an obvious joke.
If you want to critisise for that, then go ahead, im not bothered. :)

Anyway, back to topic.
2-0 to Arsenal tonight, Henry & Ljungberg.
Then 1-0 to Villarreal in the return.

At the NouCamp, im thinking either 2-0 or 3-1 to Milan.
By then hopefully Pippo will be back, and hopefully Pirlo's either been dropped or gotten his rear in gear. Im hoping that Carlo goes for Cafu LB, Serginho at RB, Nesta & Kalazde at CB. All out attack. :p
With Vogel in for Rino, Ambrosini in for Seedorf.
