1st may voting

No idea who to vote for. The tat we get through our letter box is either from the Lib Dems or Conservatives blaming one another for closing the local fire station. Neither of them seem worth voting for. :(

Bad move. The more votes they get. The more the government will be influenced. As they think people will want green policys.

By that i didn;t mean everyone vote for them it was

A) partly a joke about the partys chances of winning.

and

b) people voting for small pretty much one policy parties that would destroy the country but show the big parties what they personally want.

GF didn't post our registration form for our new flat, left it at work.

So no Borris vote from me, just hope he wins anyway !

No real need if mis-marking it means the same thing, but you're right a box saying "None of them are good enough" would be nice.

does miss marking it, actually show as a vote of no confidence?
I didn't think they did.

When will the results be Known?

Such a shame Nick Ferrari decided not to run in the end.
Manifesto:
- scrap congestion charge
- re-introduce Routemaster lookalike buses with various modifications so that they would conform to disability and emissions
- scrap the Mercedes-Benz "Bendy Buses"
- get rid of 20 mph zones, bus lanes and sync traffic lights so the traffic moves faster out of the city in peak hours

Clear winner or what?

Sounds pretty similar to Boris.

Yup, "spoiling" the ballot paper is the term for abstaining, or saying that you are not happy with any of the candidates.

There is of course the danger that it would get mis-represented as "this guys too stupid to put an 'x' in a box", and so perhaps from that angle a "No suitable candidate" box would be better for statistics purposes.

I always write "No Confidence" over mine, only ever in general elections however. I have voted in the locals when there has been someone of merit worth voting for.

i would vote for UKIP if there was a candidate in my area- but there isnt, so i probably wont vote. a vote for any of the 3 main parties is a wasted one IMO.

I have never voted, and always regretted it.

This year, I plan to choose as best I can.. which, to be fair, isn't that easy. They all come across as seedy, and you know all the parties will shaft you in the long run.

I suppose a change of party is better than keeping with the same old.. better the devil you know, as Kylie Minogue said :o
