• "The beach was too sandy."

• "It is your duty as a tour operator to advise us of noisy or unruly guests before we travel."

• "I was bitten by a mosquito - no-one said they could bite."

• "I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local store does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts."

• "It's lazy of the local shopkeepers to close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during 'siesta' time - this should be banned."

• "On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food at all."

I despair at humanity sometimes. Do such fools really need a holiday considering they already live in La La Land?

The brochure stated: 'No hairdressers at the accommodation'. We're trainee hairdressers - will we be OK staying here?

Huh? Two questions arise from this, a) is it normal to advertise hairdressers at the accomodation i.e. do people go on holiday expecting to get a hair cut while they are there? b) Exactly how stupid do you have to be to think that you'd be excluded for that reason?

I'm really struggling to contemplate how dumb you'd have to be to actually make some of the above as complaints, maybe some were intended as jokes..... please let me believe that for the sake of my sanity and what little faith I still have in humanity. :)
