2005 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix

Ralf dropped from 4th to 12th in his pitstop..

Alonso has pitted on lap 20 - comes back out in 3rd

De la Rosa tried to take Sato and made a huge mistake and let Barrichello and Button through. D'OH!

Trulli came back out in 4th - behind Heidfeld and Raikkonen and Webber has dropped back to 10th.

Massa has pitted on lap 22 as has Monteiro

Sato is pumping out so much carbon dust from the front left wheel.

Whoops - Barrichello goes slippy at the same place as MS. Could have flat spotted that front wheel more than it was already

Barrichello, Sato and Villeneuve pits on lap 25

Heidfeld - get off the damn track!! You're dropping do much oil and whatever on the racing line.

Heidfeld is out - I think the engine may have gone. :D

Coulthard pits on lap 26

No point me putting up the positions atm - they will change in another lap when the pit stops shuffle themselves out.

Sato's retired then.

End of lap 28

Nice move by De La Rosa down the inside of Button into T1

Raikkonen closing on Webber..

Webber's spun it letting Raikkonen and Ralf through.

That McLaren is very quick in race trim - in qualifying trim it's not great.

I can see why they are calling that and the Renault the class cars of the field.

So -
Raikkonen: Understeer
Webber: Oversteer
De La Rosa: too hasty

Button has a problem - the car is ok - for the moment.

What the hell De La Rosa...far far far too fast. Dime Bar...
