2005 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix

Tyres are looking good on the pit stops, not much wear.

Not a high wear circuit. It's a engine and brakes killer though. All stop start.

Button has a problem - and is attacking Barrichello.

Raikkonen pits on lap 43

Forgot to come here during the grand prix! *hangs head in shame*
All week I have said how useless de la Rosa is, but I think I have been proved wrong. He has had a couple of mistakes, but he is pulling some good times!
BAR's get it right guys! Button will be out by the end of the race I'm sure.
Schumacher, muahahaha, unfortunately, it killed any battle for the lead, sigh.
Was hoping Heidfeld could have done well again but the stupid engine regulationd have spoiled the day, AGAIN!
All things said, this is a reasonably good race!

De La Rosa has just put in the fastest lap of the race - 1:31.447

Button passes Barrichello - he's getting slower and slower.
His fastest lap is 1:35.051

Massa pits on lap 43

De La Rosa pits on lap 44

Coulthard pits on lap 45 too.
He's nowhere this race

They are changing gears at about 750/1000 rpm below max. They're really trying to preserve them.

Button pits - they pull the wheel off to check the brakes
And he stalls..and they've got problems restarting.

They've cooked the clutch I think...
They've got it going - kind of - pulled away with the jack attached.
Nearly a 6 wheel car for a bit. :D
Stops at the end of the pit lane.

He was really losing it in the car, not what you would expect from Button. I would love to hear an interview with him right now, he'd hammer the team.
De la Rosa has provided so much entertainment this weekend, classic!
